Results in Great Britain

The 423 children from the Disraeli School in High Wycombe,
Buckinghamshire, England collected 2180 Green Footprints!

When they heard about the Zoom 2007 campaign they were very
excited  to take part and make a special effort to walk to and from school during the week Monday 17th September to Sunday 23rd September.
They held assemblies about climate change and thought about climate change and the effect that their life-styles have on the environment.
They were also interviewed by the local radio station Mix 107
to tell their local community what they were doing for climate
change.


Results in Italy



These are the proud winners of a the Rosmini school in Bozen. As a prize they got a daytrip to the Zoo in Affi.

In Italy, mostly in the North, several large and smaller municipalities took part in the 2007 ZOOM-project and there are more, every year.

Over 10,000 children succeeded in collecting 360,000 Miglia Verdi /Green Footprints by walking - some collected for two weeks, others for several months.

Results in Liechtenstein

In Liechtenstein 166 children collected 2667 Green Footprints.

The teacher wrote us:

We made our activity week from 5.11. - 16.11.07. The 166 children, that were participating collected  2667 Grüne Meilen /Green Footprints.

During that week between 98% and 99% walked to school, normally  over 15 % of the pupils  are being brought  in there partents car.


Results in Luxembourg



In Luxembourg children from 34 communities were participating.

At November 27th the children handed over their results to the Minister of Environment Lucien Lux

In Kristianstad they once again collected "Green Footprints", 3038 so far... 

Participants in Switzerland

The results of the 240 participants in Zürich where presented at the “Zürli mobil-Day” in September.

Some child wrote on its footprint: “I hope that we succeed!”
